The Dhyana Cleaning Team in Toronto

Hello, I'm Natasha.
I have three big passions, water-colour painting, agriculture and helping others.
When I'm not working, I enjoy immersing myself in the paintings I've been working on, as well as escaping the city in favour of nature and the wilderness. Being in nature helps me become more aware of my surroundings, as well as reconnect with what our vast, beautiful landscapes have to offer.
In recent years, I have also done some motivational speaking directed at young people, regarding social work and the services available for anyone in distress. I'm proud to say that I was recently awarded the "Voice of Courage" from Boost, an organization I worked closely with. Boost is an amazing organization committed to child abuse prevention and intervention. This was a huge accomplishment for me, and has further inspired me to keep sharing my knowledge, compassion, and drive.
What I love about cleaning is the positive impact that I get to have on a person's everyday life. I take genuine pleasure in helping families find more time to spend together, as well as partners and individuals to be able to take some much-needed time for themselves. It's very rewarding to hear such great feedback from my clients, as well as to see the positive physical outcome!
If I could have any superpower, it would be the ability to change forms - just like Mystique from X-Men.
The biggest life lesson I have learned so far is understanding that not everyone in the world will see, think and feel as I do...and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that! We are all different and handle particular situations in our own ways. I think it's always important to look at the big picture and focus on how you conduct yourself when dealing with these situations.
Looking forward to the year ahead, I hope to learn more about what I can personally do, to have a positive impact on the environment.

Hello, I’m Ryan.
I’m an illustration graduate and artist, and consider myself to be deeply passionate about creative expression and connecting with others, whether it’s through art, great conversation, or cleaning. I view cleaning as an art form, a way to steady the mind and drop into focus. My work as an artist, as well as a cleaner, has strengthened both my ability to be mindful, as well as my attention to detail. As an artist, I enjoy working primarily with oil paint, as it allows me to develop my appreciation for the profound in simplicity.
Continuous learning and growth are the foundations of my practice, as well as the way I approach the world. This past year, I completed a massive 10-foot painting (as featured in corridor213.com), a challenge I gave myself, to stretch my abilities in all areas of my life.
Why I love cleaning is because it allows me to reveal the beauty of a space, and when done with pride, there is a certain satisfaction in knowing that I’m having a positive impact on the families I clean for.
My ideal superpower is patience – something I work at everyday. Wikipedia defines patience as a “state of endurance”, which is where I excel. I love nothing more than entering a space that is in need of some love and attention, giving it a thorough and detailed cleaning, and then stepping back to marvel at its calming beauty.
My personal learning goal for this year is to develop a deeper understanding of how I can add even more value to other people’s lives, whether that is through enriching artwork, or beautified spaces.

Hello, I’m Nicole
I love to read, write and discover the world around me. Walking through unfamiliar neighborhoods gives me a window into the lives of others, as well as a chance to discover hidden gems, such as small businesses, organizations and art.
What do I love about cleaning? The other day I cleaned the windows of a home vibrating with transformation. I was a stranger amongst boxes, bags and piles of treasured belongings. All waiting to be put in order. And through the window panes I was cleaning, I could visualize their future happiness.
Cleaning provides many stories. Its hard not to look at hard water stains, bathtub rings or even stove grease, without contemplating the life that put them there. For me, cleaning offers a glimpse into another person's life. As I run my fingers over shinning surfaces, I take deep breaths of satisfaction, not just because its clean, but because I helped make it ready for the next experience.
I feel a deep appreciation for the lives lived around me, as well as my contribution to their overall well-being. As I enter a home, I do so without judgement or opinion, and I leave with an open mind and heart.
My hope is to bring mindfulness to my future endeavors. I want to work in partnership with those who find it hard to trust, those with hidden disabilities and sickness that has made it difficult to do what others take for granted. I find beauty in everyday tasks and want to share that beauty with the world. We all know that wonderful feeling of relaxing in a clean and organized home at the end of a long day. My desire is to provide that experience for those who face physical challenges maintaining their living space.
